Diligence Is the Mother of Success
One of the most important factors leading to success is diligence. Being diligent or not means great difference in our life.
We will never reach our goals without hard work. Most people want to be successful in the future, but how many of us can really be successful ? Only a few of us accomplish something in their life for they have made great efforts in their work and study.
Diligence is the key to success. Many scientists become famous and have made great contributions to development of the world only because they have firm beliefs and confidence in success and never give up when they have met with a lot of difficulties and failures. Success always belongs to those who have tried their best and done things with great efforts.
Success lies in hard work while idleness leads to failure. The true meaning of diligence is to use your time carefully and wisely for the purpose of improvement, or to work persistently without wasting time. Man's life is limited and time is most precious. You will regret achieving nothing when you are growing old. Laziness makes people useless and poor. If you want to be successful in something, you must fight against idleness, and devote all your time and energies to your work.
Life is much better now than in the past. But we should work much harder to create a better future.
Laziness often like to make friends, and friends of people tend to encounter failure and pain.
The students made it, school will be wasted; the farmer made it, paddy will become a wasteland; workers made it, will not go to work, from one family go hungry. In short, and lazy friends, will have adverse consequences.
And hardworking and friends are not many people, why? For the industry to work, is that most people do not welcome, but do it and friends, for your great help, whether the farmer workers, students, hand in it, it will make you success and happiness.
It is after the first bitter sweet, so people don't like; idleness is the first after the bitter sweet, most people like. At all times and in all countries of the great figure is the important matter of the first to bear hardships and do with vigour and vitality. Thus: diligence is indispensable to life.

The significant inscription found on an old key "If I rest, I rust" would be an excellent motto for those who are afflicted with the slightest taint of idleness. On Diligence It is the duty of every man to work. The life of a lazy man is of no use to himself and to others. The man who is too lazy to work is the man who's generally most ready to beg or to steal. Every boy when he is young should learn some useful work. But it is not enough that a boy should learn some kind of work. He should put his heart and soul completely into his work, and not waste his spare time. "Work while you work and play while you play" is as good a rule for young people as for the old. There is no better help to diligence than the habit of early rising, which just like all other good habits is most easily formed in youth. There is an English saying, "Lost time never returns." This means that everybody must be diligent, and make good use of his time. One must study hard when he is young so that he may make great progress, succeed in life and become useful to his country. Therefore, we say that diligence Is the mother of success.
1.Henry Ford(1863-1943) failed and went broke five times before he finally succeeded.
2.Beethoven(1770-1827) handled the violin awkwardly and preferred playing his own compisitions instead of improving his technique. His teacher called him hopeless as a composer
3.Walt Disney(1901-1966) was fired by a newspaper editor for lack of ideas. Disney also went bankrupt several times before he built Disneyland.
4.In 1954,Jimmy Denny, manager of the Grand Ole Opry, fired Elvis Presley(1935-1977) after one performance. He told Presley,"you ain't goin' nowhere。son, You ought to go back to driving a truck." Elvis Presley went on to become the most popular singer in American.
So remember never give up believing in yourself!
