我市教育系統(tǒng)在教師中積極倡導“書香為伴”的思想，通過讀書促進教師提高業(yè)務素質，享受閱讀、享受教育、享受人生。在學生中努力倡導“我與好書同行”的思想，幫助學生養(yǎng)成良好的讀書習慣，夯實文化底蘊，為人生打好底色。

學校建立了“文化墻”、“讀書亭”、“讀報欄”，努力營造“書香”大環(huán)境。二是建設“書香”教室小環(huán)境。

圍繞“書香班級”建設，每個班級設立圖書角，創(chuàng)設具有各班特色的讀書口號和板報；班級布置突出讀書主題，力求讓無聲的環(huán)境能夠與學生有心靈的交流。（三）充實圖書，豐富閱讀資源。

市教育局要求各地每年撥出一定的經費用于學校圖書的購置，滿足師生的閱讀需要，同時加強對學校圖書室、閱覽室的管理，使圖書報刊分類規(guī)范合理，擺放整齊美觀，管理有序，方便滿足師生借閱。各學校還注重流動書柜建設，讓學生能夠共同分享書籍的美妙和讀書的樂趣。

（四）納入課程，確保閱讀時間。我市多數(shù)學校堅持每天開展不少于15分鐘的“晨讀活動”、開設“大閱讀課”，以此保障學生有必要的讀書時間；每周安排一節(jié)課作為閱讀指導課或讀書交流會，由語文教師進行閱讀指導、答疑解惑；定期向學生推薦介紹好書，引導學生開展課外擴展性閱讀活動。

（五）師生共讀，開展主題讀書活動。教師是校園閱讀的第一推動者，是閱讀的示范者。

市教育局倡導全市教師養(yǎng)成“每天讀一點、每天摘一點、每天背一點、每天寫一點、每天講一點”的讀書方式，帶動指導學生閱讀，形成師生共讀氛圍，讓孩子們多一點書生氣，讓教師多一份書卷氣，讓校園多一些書香氣。通過開展“一日三讀”（晨讀古詩詞、午讀經典名著、晚間親子共讀）等形式多樣的讀書活動，為師生創(chuàng)設了交流和展示讀書成果的渠道。

教師通過閱讀提升自己、超越自己；學生通過閱讀體驗“我讀書、我快樂、我成長”的樂趣。（六）評比激勵，共同感受成功體驗。

為激勵各地各校更好地開展“書香校園”創(chuàng)建活動，我市教育局每年都組織“書香校園”的評比、命名和授牌活動。各縣（市、區(qū)）也紛紛開展“書香校園”、“書香班級”、“書香少年”、“書香教師”以及“書香家庭”的評選活動。

2008年以來，全市共有61所學校被評為市級“書香校園”，17所學校被評為省級“書香校園”。2010年我市開展“忠誠如山·感恩奉獻”讀書活動，樹立了10名“忠誠楷模”學生讀書先進典型。

深入推進創(chuàng)建“書香校園”活動、加快建設學習型社會，是一項基礎性、長期性的工作。我們雖然努力做了一些工作，取得了一定成效，但與上級要求以及形勢發(fā)展的需要，還存在不少差距。
